Q. In what situations do you use the machine?
A. We primarily use it for peeling apples and pears for lunches and snacks at our center. Since it can also peel vegetables, we are considering using it for potatoes and other ingredients used in our school meals in the future.
Q. What challenges were you facing before implementing the machine?
A. Everything was done manually—using knives for fruit and hand-peelers for potatoes. We often struggled with apples that were irregularly shaped, and our biggest concern was the significant amount of time it took to peel them manually within our limited schedule.
Q. How did those challenges affect your overall operations?
A. One staff member would be completely occupied just with the peeling task, which caused delays in other cooking duties and cleaning up.
Q. What was the deciding factor for the implementation?
A. During the demonstration, we were impressed by how “fast and beautiful” the results were. Even with soft ingredients, the machine produced a beautiful finish without losing the fruit’s shape—making it perfect for serving to children.

Q. What effects have you noticed since the implementation?
A. The efficiency in our kitchen has improved significantly. Because it peels so overwhelmingly fast and beautifully, it has led to a massive reduction in preparation time.
Q. What particular points make you glad you implemented it?
A. Besides the speed, we really like the ease of operation, which allows us to adjust the peeling thickness freely. It has reduced the burden on our staff, and we find it very easy to use.
