ASTRA Inc. proudly announces the release of its newest industrial machine, the FAP-3000, designed specifically for large-scale pineapple processing. With its official launch scheduled for October 2025, the FAP-3000 represents a major step forward in ASTRA’s mission to simplify fruit processing while maximizing yield and efficiency.

High-performance for industrial use
The FAP-3000 processes up to 500 pineapples per hour, making it ASTRA’s first model optimized for factory-scale production. It performs peeling and coring simultaneously, leveraging ASTRA’s original blade-peel technology — the same system trusted in its smaller KA-750PM model, now adapted for industrial throughput.
The machine achieves an impressive yield rate of around 52 % after coring, compared to the 40–45 % typical of other commercial machines. This improvement directly translates into less waste, higher productivity, and lower cost per fruit.
Despite its capacity, the FAP-3000 maintains a compact footprint for easy installation in existing processing lines, while ensuring compliance with CE standards. NSF certification is also in progress, making it suitable for North American food facilities.

Exhibition debut and availability
The FAP-3000 will be officially unveiled at the Global Produce & Floral Show (IFPA 2025) in Anaheim, California, where live demonstrations will be held at ASTRA’s booth.
Commercial shipments are scheduled to begin from October 2025, and pre-orders are now open for industrial clients worldwide.
